The goals of the South Whidbey Elementary Library Media Center are:

• to promote a lifelong love of reading and
• to ensure that all students are effective users and producers of ideas and information

Circulation and Collection:

We maintain a collection of over 25,000 resources for students, teachers and parents that includes books, dvds, audio books and a variety of reference materials.  

Students are allowed to keep items for up to two weeks.  Students can wait for their weekly library class or they may exchange materials each day.  Kindergartners check out one book at a time, older students may have two. Parents may also visit and check out books.
